International Hyperpolarization Conference
University of Göttingen
6—10 September 2026
Organizer and Chair: Marina Bennati (MPI-NAT, Univ. of Göttingen)
WELCOME!
It is a great pleasure to invite to HYP26, the International Hyperpolarization Conference held at the University of Göttingen, Germany, from September 6 – 10, 2026!
Hyperpolarization methods have emerged as a transformative avenue for advancing nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and imaging (MRI) across the natural sciences. The planned conference serves as a dedicated forum to report newest developments from hardware and methods to applications, as well as a valuable platform for sharing expertise across different subfields of hyperpolarization.
We expect about 200 scientists from universities, research centers, industry, and public authorities from throughout Europe and around the world. The program includes invited and contributed lectures, as well as over 100 roundtable discussions and poster sessions.
Abstract submission will be open begin March 2026. We call for abstracts in all fields of spin hyperpolarization including dynamic nuclear polarization, parahydrogen induced polarization, spin exchange optical pumping, spin physics, hardware development, theory/simulations and applications.
The scientific event takes place in the charming city of Göttingen, which is world-renowned as a “City of Science” and a historic university town. The Scientific Committee is confident that Hyp26 will bring exciting advancements to the magnetic resonance community, and looks forward to meeting you all in Göttingen!
Cordially,
Marina Bennati
